How to Go to the Elf Camp in OSRS gold
Old School RuneScape (OSRS) is filled with hidden locations that unlock new quests, training opportunities, and unique content—and the Elf Camp (officially renamed Iorwerth Camp after the "Song of the Elves" quest) is one of the most notable. Nestled deep in the elven lands of Tirannwn, this camp is a key hub for the elven questline, home to elf warriors, fishing spots, and critical quest NPCs. But reaching it isn't as simple as walking across a field; it requires completing specific quests and mastering a few travel methods. This guide breaks down everything you need to know to get to the Elf Camp in OSRS gold, step by step.
First: Meet the Quest Requirement
Before you can even set foot in Tirannwn—the region where the Elf Camp is located—you must complete a series of prerequisite quests. The most important requirement is partial completion of the "Regicide" quest. This quest is part of the elven questline and unlocks access to the western lands of Tirannwn, where the Elf Camp resides.
To start "Regicide," you first need to complete three prior quests: "Plague City," "Biohazard," and "Underground Pass". "Plague City" has no skill requirements and can be started on a fresh account, while "Biohazard" only requires finishing "Plague City."
"Underground Pass" is the most challenging of the three, requiring 25 Ranged, plus completion of the previous two quests. For a smoother experience, aim for at least 50 Agility and Thieving, and a combat level of 60—this quest involves navigating a long, trap-filled dungeon with numerous monsters. Once "Underground Pass" is done, "Regicide" becomes available, and completing even part of it will grant you access to Tirannwn.
Note: If you complete "Regicide" fully, you'll have unrestricted access to Tirannwn, making travel to the Elf Camp much easier. You'll also need 10 Crafting and 56 Agility to finish "Regicide" entirely.
Method 1: Lodestone Teleport + Foot Travel (Most Accessible)
Once you have access to Tirannwn, the simplest way to reach the Elf Camp is using the Tirannwn Lodestone. This method is free, requires no extra items, and is ideal for players who don't have advanced teleport items.
First, you need to activate the Tirannwn Lodestone. To do this, travel to Tirannwn (via the Underground Pass during "Regicide") and click the lodestone to activate it. Once activated, you can teleport to it anytime using the Home Teleport spell or lodestone network.
After teleporting to the Tirannwn Lodestone, head northwest through the dense forest of Isafdar. Keep an eye on your minimap to avoid getting lost—Tirannwn's forest is large and easy to wander in. Before reaching the bridge that leads up the hill to Prifddinas (the elven city), turn west.
You'll see a log balance; cross it to enter the Elf Camp. This log balance requires 45 Agility—if you don't have this level, you'll need to train Agility first or use another travel method. The log balance is short and straightforward, so even players with exactly 45 Agility should have no trouble crossing it.
Method 2: Charter Ship to Port Tyras + Walk
Another reliable method to reach the Elf Camp is by chartering a ship to Port Tyras, then walking north to the camp. This method is great if you prefer sea travel or don't want to navigate the Tirannwn forest from the lodestone.
To use this method, you must first complete "Regicide"—this unlocks access to Port Tyras via charter ships. Head to any charter ship port (such as Port Sarim, Port Khazard, or Port Phasmatys) and speak to the charter ship captain.
Ask the captain to take you to Port Tyras. The cost is minimal (usually a few hundred gold coins) and well worth it for the convenience. Once you arrive at Port Tyras, disembark and head north into the Tirannwn forest.
Follow the path north until you reach the Elf Camp. This walk takes about 5–10 minutes, and while there are a few low-level monsters along the way, they pose little threat to most players. Keep an eye out for elf warriors near the camp—they are level 84 and may attack if you get too close.
Method 3: Teleport Scrolls and Crystals (Fastest Options)
For players who want to reach the Elf Camp quickly, there are two advanced teleport methods: Iorwerth Camp Teleport Scrolls and Elf Teleport Crystals. These methods skip the foot travel entirely and drop you directly near the camp.
Iorwerth Camp Teleport Scrolls are obtained from all levels of Treasure Trails clues. Each scroll is one-time use and teleports you directly to the Elf Camp. They can only be used after completing "Regicide," so make sure you've finished the quest before using them. These scrolls are perfect for players who need to visit the camp frequently for quests or slayer tasks.
Elf Teleport Crystals (also called Crystal Teleport Seeds) are another fast option. These crystals are obtained during the "Mourning's End Part I" quest and can be recharged for RuneScape gold for sale multiple uses. Use the crystal to teleport to Lletya, an elven village near the Elf Camp, then walk northwest for a few minutes to reach the camp.
If you've completed "Song of the Elves," you can also use the Tirannwn Quiver 3 or 4, which offers direct teleports to the Elf Camp. This quiver is a reward for progressing through the elven questline and is one of the most convenient ways to travel to the camp long-term.
